Podružnica Krk Udruge Prsten osnovana je na Osnivačkoj skupštini 15.ožujka 2014. godine, a sjedište podružnice je u ulici dr. Dinka Vitezića 1 u gradu Krku.
Naša Podružnica ima više od 70 članova aktivnih kroz cijelu godinu.
Najveći broj naših aktivnosti odnose se na humanitarno djelovanje, a posebno u vrijeme Božića i Uskrsa kada posjećujemo starije i nemoćne članove Podružnice te sve ostale kojima je potrebna pomoć.
U predbožićnom periodu organiziramo donatorsku večer za sve članove i simpatizere te na taj način financiramo našu humanitarnu aktivnost. Također, jednom godišnje organiziramo posjetu u Posavinu. Kako bi sačuvali i prenijeli dio tradicije, pokrenuli smo inicijativu da mlađe članice i članove naučimo svirati naš izvorni instrument – šargiju.
Uspostavili smo i jako dobru suradnju s načelnicima otoka Krka, kao i s gradonačelnikom grada Krka koji nam nude uzajamnu pomoć i suradnju.
